Thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters, we were able to continue our mission to close the osteoporosis care gap in 2025.

Our new Annual Report captures the key moments over the last 12 months.

Early last year we welcomed a UK Government investment in new DEXA scanners in England and we made sure Health Secretary Wes Streeting’s election pledge to roll-out early diagnosis clinics (called Fracture Liaison Services) became enshrined in the landmark 10 Year Health Plan.

In Wales, we celebrated the world-leading Quality Statement which commits the Welsh Government to achieving the international clinical standards for FLS by 2030. In Scotland, we played an active role in creating the first public audit of osteoporosis clinics. And we held our first policy event in the Northern Ireland assembly.

Elsewhere, we launched our new medicine support programme, BoneMed Online, to help 15,000 people get the best out of their treatment plan.

We also developed new peer support offerings, like our online community and Men’s Network to help even more people find the connection and support they need.
