Stockport Volunteer Team

The Stockport Volunteer Team is a group of volunteers who offer people affected with osteoporosis the chance to meet other people in the area similarly affected, get information, support and ask questions about osteoporosis treatment and care.

Monday 19 February, 10am to 12pm

Come and Meet Each Other (CAMEO) with the Fracture Liaison Nurse

Monday 22 April, 1.30-4pm

Patient Education Event 
Speakers to include: Dr Abbas Ismail, Consultant Rheumatologist; a pharmacist; a physiotherapist; a dietician; a DEXA radiographer; representatives from Life Leisure, Age UK and The Prevention Alliance

Monday 20 May, 10.30am -12.30pm

Come and Meet Each Other (CAMEO) with the Fracture Liaison Nurse; to include an introduction to Pilates

Monday 16 September, 2-4pm

Coffee afternoon - with speaker and topic to be announced

Monday 7 October, 1-4pm

Come and Meet Each Other (CAMEO) with the Fracture Liaison Nurse. There will be tea, coffee, mince pies and the chance to sing some Christmas songs.
