Newtown Volunteer Team

The Newtown Volunteer Team is a group of volunteers who offer people affected with osteoporosis the chance to meet other people in the area similarly affected, get information, support and ask questions about osteoporosis treatment and care.

Programme 2024

Friday 12 April

A talk by Erin Hugo, Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist specialising in falls prevention and vestibular rehab. She will be giving advice on falls prevention and information on the help available from other agencies to avoid falls.

Friday 18 October, 2pm

Changed event: Join us to mark World Osteoporosis Day with tea/coffee and cakes. Learn more about the risk checker, and how to share this with friends and family.

Venue: Newtown Methodist Church, Back Lane, Newtown, SY16 2NH (The church is opposite Back Lane carpark and the bus station)
