Gravesend Support Group

The Gravesend Support Group is a group of volunteers who offer people affected with osteoporosis the chance to meet other people in the area similarly affected, get information, support and ask questions about osteoporosis treatment and care.

Tuesday 26 March

A demonstration of chair-based exercises by a local exercise specialist

Tuesday 28 May 

CAMEO evening (Come And Meet Each Other) plus a practical follow-up to "Exercising from a chair"

Tuesday 23 July 

A talk by Julie-Ann Brown, a Physiotherapist from West Kent Falls Prevention Team 

Tuesday 1 October (note change of date)

"Mature Drivers & Passengers Road Safety"
Kent County Council’s Safer Road Users Team

Topic and speaker to be announced

Admission: £2 including tea and biscuits.

There is no need to book in advance, and anyone with an interest in osteoporosis is welcome. We are always pleased to welcome new people to the group.
