Online community
The Bone Health and Osteoporosis UK community is a welcoming and safe space for you to share your experiences with others. Whether you’re living with osteoporosis or supporting someone, our community is here for you.
Our community is hosted by the Health Unlocked platform, a network of hundreds of health and wellness communities connected to reputable organisations. It is moderated by Royal Osteoporosis Society and the Health Unlocked team to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all members.
How do I use the online community?
You register to join our community by clicking on the link below and provide an anonymous username to set up an account. You can then post your thoughts and questions and others will reply to provide support. You can also offer support to others in this way.
Is it for me?
Bone Health and Osteoporosis UK is open to people who are over 16 with bone health concerns, or living with osteoporosis especially those living or caring for someone with the impact of previous fractures. Support is provided by other members, so the community does not provide clinical information and guidance. Instead it is an opportunity to join others who have had similar experiences and are keen to lend a listening ear and offer support.
We have hundreds of members and many people use the community often – so you’ll soon start recognising a few usernames, and hopefully make some friends too.
